These terms apply to participation in Score Goal Club, a service where supporters can support their chosen team through automatic financial support linked to the team’s performances.
By joining Score Goal Club, the participant accepts these terms.
1. About Score Goal Club
Score Goal Club lets a supporter choose a team and set an amount they want to support the team with for every goal or point the team achieves.
The supporter registers their payment card, and the support is calculated automatically after each game based on the team’s official result.
Score provides the technical platform and administers the calculation and payment of the support.
2. Definitions
- “Score Goal Club”
- means Score’s service for performance-based supporter and club support.
- “Supporter” or “Participant”
- means the person who joins Score Goal Club.
- “Support”
- means the amount the supporter has chosen to contribute per goal or point.
- “Team”
- means the team the supporter has chosen to support.
- “Game”
- means a game covered by the team’s participation in Score Goal Club.
- “Platform”
- means Score’s digital service and related technical solutions.
3. How participation works
The supporter chooses:
- which team to support,
- which amount to pay per goal or point,
- and registers a valid payment card.
By joining Score Goal Club, the supporter agrees that the registered payment card is charged automatically based on the team’s performances.
Example:
25 kr per goal × 4 goals = 100 kr in support.
After the game, the support is calculated and the payment is made automatically.
Through the Platform, the supporter can see their chosen support, previous support and how much support has been generated for the club.
4. Support amount and optional maximum
The supporter chooses the amount to pay per goal or point.
Examples of support levels:
- 10 kr / goal
- 25 kr / goal
- 50 kr / goal
- 100 kr / goal
If the Platform offers the option to set a maximum support amount per game, the supporter may also set such an amount.
Any maximum applies per game and means the supporter is not charged more than that amount for the game in question.
If no maximum has been chosen, the support is calculated from the actual number of goals or points and the chosen amount per goal or point.
5. Goals and points that form the basis for the support
All goals or points officially registered for the chosen team in a game form the basis for the supporter’s support.
This means that all goals or points count, regardless of how they came about – for example penalty goals, own goals and goals scored in extra time, to the extent they are part of the game’s official result.
If special terms for how goals or points form the basis for the support are stated when the supporter joins Score Goal Club, those terms apply to that support.
If a game is not completed and no final official result is established, no support is charged for the game, unless expressly stated otherwise in the information about that support.
Score relies on the official result established by the relevant competition or sports organisation.
6. Payment
By registering their payment card, the supporter agrees that Score, through Score’s payment provider, makes automatic payments for the support that has arisen.
Payment is normally made after the game the support is based on.
The supporter is responsible for their registered payment details being correct and the card being valid.
Payment may be made by Score or by an external payment provider that Score uses for payment handling.
7. Failed payment
If a payment cannot be made, Score or its payment provider may make further payment attempts.
The supporter may need to update or replace their payment card to keep participating.
If payment cannot be made, Score may pause or end participation in Score Goal Club.
Support that has already arisen from completed games does not lapse merely because a payment failed.
8. Changing or ending participation
The supporter can end their participation in Score Goal Club at any time.
Ending applies to future games and does not affect support that arose before it.
Where the feature is available, the supporter can change their chosen team or support amount.
A change applies to future games and does not affect support that has already been calculated or charged.
9. Distribution of the support
Of the support generated through Score Goal Club:
90% goes to the club
and
10% goes to Score
Score’s share covers the system, payment handling and administration.
Through the Platform, the supporter can see how much support has been generated and how much goes to the club.
10. Match results and corrections
Score uses official match results as the basis for calculating the support.
If a result or the number of goals/points changes after a game has been registered, the calculated support may need to be corrected.
If such a correction affects an amount already charged, Score may handle it through a refund, credit or other appropriate handling.
11. Cancelled and abandoned games
If a game is cancelled, postponed or abandoned, Score may wait to calculate the support until an official result is available.
No charge is based on a game without a final official result, unless expressly stated otherwise in the information about that support.
If the game later gets an official result, the support may be calculated from that result.
12. Personal data
Personal data collected in connection with Score Goal Club is processed in accordance with applicable data protection law.
The data may be used to:
- administer participation,
- handle payments,
- calculate and report the supporter’s support,
- communicate with the supporter,
- and provide and develop Score Goal Club.
Payment details may be processed by external payment providers used by Score.
The supporter has rights under applicable data protection law, including the right to request access to, rectification of and in some cases erasure of their personal data.
13. The roles of Score and the club
Score provides the technical platform for Score Goal Club and functions for calculating, administering and paying the supporter’s support.
The club receives the share of the support that falls to the club under the agreement between the club and Score.
Score is not responsible for the match result itself or for decisions made by referees, competition organisations or other competent sports organisations.
14. Changes to the service and the terms
Score may change or develop Score Goal Club, for example by adding, changing or removing features.
Score may also update these terms when there are objective reasons to do so, for example changes to the service, the payment solution or applicable law.
Material changes will be communicated in an appropriate way.
A support amount the supporter has chosen cannot be changed without the supporter’s approval.
15. Limitation of liability
Score strives to keep Score Goal Club available and working correctly, but cannot guarantee that the service is always free from technical faults or interruptions.
Score is not liable for errors or delays caused by external payment providers, data providers, technical infrastructure services or other circumstances beyond Score’s reasonable control.
16. Refunds
If an incorrect charge has been made because of a technical fault, an incorrect match result or another circumstance meaning the supporter was charged an incorrect amount, Score shall take reasonable steps to correct the payment.
17. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with Swedish law.
Any disputes should first be resolved through dialogue between the supporter and Score.
Mandatory consumer protection rules are not affected by these terms.
18. Acceptance
By joining Score Goal Club, the supporter confirms that they have read and accept these terms.
The supporter also agrees that the registered payment card may be charged automatically according to the chosen support amount and the team’s performances.
